Memorial Day... weekend!

Winchester Bay! Beautiful weather... 70+ degrees, light wind ~ paradise!

Lance pulling Fan-C on the 'board'... I think daddy had more fun with this than Fan-C.

Fan-C fell off the board, she started crawling back up the beach~

Look at him goooooo... he tried so hard to 'catch a wave' ;o)

Hey Tank wanna go on the board?
Nope, gotta make my pie Dad!

Wonder of wonders, miracles of miracles.... Tiny-T TOUCHED, PLAYED & ENJOYED THE SAND! She didn't even hesitate... usually she is COVERED head to toe, absolutely no skin showing. Then she sits in a camping chair (which I did provide) and watches everything going on~ making sure that not one grain of sand comes in contact with her skin...

While taking pics of Fan-C and daddy playing in the water I look down and this is what I saw...
Where are ya going honey?
I want to play with daddy... and off she went.

Beautiful, no rain the entire weekend~
The Zoo Crew watching "Aladin", it is awesome outside... wanna play? OKAY!
Note the camping chair, it never got used!
The city/village/castle that Lance built!
Here it is again, after the Tank got ahold of it....
We had so much fun. We camped in Reedsport with Lance's brother and his family.
The weather was amazing, we got to go and visit family camping in Florence on Sunday afternoon... GREAT FUN!

95 degrees... break out the pool!

Welcome to the Ducky Family pool!
Breaking out the pool in MAY... wow...
Fan-C using the 'diving board'...
The Tank LOVED the slide...
Tiny-T content to wade against the edge of the pool... trying to avoid being splashed!
Three little ducklings swimmin' in the pool, friends in Alaska will see this and drool!
Here is the 'Life Guard' ~
keeping the ducklings afloat and maintaining some kind of "order"!
He works for fruit smoothies... hee hee!
We are so excited to get to jump into swimming this early in the year.
Last night we had the crazy 'wild sprinkler' out and all
enjoyed running through it ... keeping cool!
(Mommaduck doesn't enjoy the heat, she likes sun, just not the heat!)
Remember ya'll this is Oregon!
We will enjoy the sun while it lasts.

Mother's Day - Review...

These are the frames I made for Mother's Day this year...
I think I had modpodge everywhere, I kept finding spots to clean over this last week.

The ducklings brought me in their gift... a yummy DQ ice-cream cake...

Lance bought me the new Josh Groban DVD/CD combo... LOVE IT.

He also bought a magic bullet... a small blender that chops and blends and 'makes fruit smoothies'... hint hint hint. :o) Okay Lancings, I will make you a fruit smoothie~thanks for the gifts.

I Would Die For That

Happy Mother's Day ...

Happy Mother's Day!
I know that I am so blessed to have three beautiful children.
BUT, I also know exactly how this video explains.

To carry a baby myself... to have a baby that is a part of Lance and myself. To hold a brand new newborn and KNOW that a caseworker won't be calling tomorrow telling me that their is a "chance" this baby will be leaving our home... to have one that is 100% ours from the get-go...

I hope ya'll can understand, just as the song says, "I would die for that." ...

Six Years Together....

Lance comes home tonight with a dozen yellow roses.... ohhh la la!
Yep, six years together ...
BUT, yellow roses are an inside joke!So approx. six years ago... Lance asked me out on a date to the temple (very cool in itself), when he opened the door he handed me a dozen yellow roses. I totally loved them and was saying thank you to him when he blurted out really LOUD & FAST,
"It's for friendship!"
I said thanks again and we went to the temple.

After getting home that night, he explains to me that the color yellow for flowers means friendship. He didn't want me to think he was trying to "go too fast!" He is so cute!

So, tonight he walks in from work with his YELLOW flowers in hand and blurts out,

"It's for friendship!"

I totally laughed so hard... that's a good one honey.

I love you Lancings! (six years has flown by...)

Yummy...

We had cinnamon rolls for dessert Sunday night...
We actually made something the Tank will eat ~ total miracle!

Fan-C enjoying her roll...
Ummmm, Tiny-T, What are you doing?
'I don' wanna be sticky..."

This is dedicated to her Gramma Lillie...
Yummy treat & clean hands makes for a very happy girl!

Tiny-T's 1st Haircut!

April 26th: Tiny-T has 'stunted' hair... it just won't grow evenly. She has cute curls... but these LONG strands were covering all of them in the back... so she got her first haircut!
I pulled them into a loose ponytail and cut... UMMMMMM... they don't curl! They uncovered the bottom curls but the newly cut stuff doesn't curl....
Okay, so it is still cute if I wet it and scrunch it and toss it around...
Tiny-T was happy with the results.
Hopefully now, her hair will grow out at an even pace...
Hey, I can hope right!?!

Oregon Weather is Going NUTS!

April 11th: Sun is finally shining and the Zoo Crew are lovin' the outdoors!

The Tank set up his T-ball set and basically was a natural... our 'Southpaw' is gonna rock at baseball!
One week later: April 20th... woke up to find this!
Mother Nature isn't quite sure what to do with herself...
Isn't it Spring?!?

"I need MY Gramma!"

Grandma Lillie w/Tiny-T & baby Onica...

Tiny-T gets up from her nap yesterday and comes stomping out into the living room and yells out "I need MY Gramma!"

I ask her "Why?"

"I need to hugs & kisses her!" (Tiny-T)

These are the moments you live for... (I think 'gramma' would agree)

See that girl...

Tiny-T my Dancing Queen...

The house is quiet. The ducklings are in their rooms playing nicely with toys and all the world is calm and right. I don't like the TV to be on, so usually after some quiet time I will turn on the stereo and blast out some thumpin' music. Maybe two notes into the song here comes Tiny-T running full speed for the living room. The girl LOVES music. She also loves to dance. She is already into her dance routine by the time she finds her place right in front of the entertainment center, where she can dance and watch herself in the blank screen of the TV.
She dances the entire time loudly proclaiming that "This is MY song..." each time a new song starts. She likes to hold hands and then she feels brave enough to jump around and know that she won't fall.
People who meet her for the first time say things like, "She is so quiet. Does she ever talk?" To which I usually laugh hysterically and say, "She is either talking or singing from the moment she wakes up until she finally falls asleep each night."
I think that Tiny-T will be on broadway someday...
that is how I will finally get a trip to New York City!

Just Can't Wait to be King!

The Tank displaying some of his 'wildlife' collection...
(dinosaurs from his birthday)
I am waiting for the laundry to finish so I can switch out loads.... AGAIN. Sitting in the "office" section of my room I hear the Tank sing out, "Oh I just can't wait to be KIIIIIIING!" Yes, 'The Lion King' is the movie of choice this morning. Then I hear him scampering to my room... "Mom, I want to go to 'Safari'." I remind the Tank that we were just at the wildlife safari a little over a month ago... without missing a beat, "Then I need to go to the Zoo. We never been there in a LONG time."
We'll go soon big man. The Tank LOVES his animals!

Professing her love...

I love you for forever and ever and ever and ever...

Fan-C came up to me after general conference ended this evening. She said that she wanted me to know that she loved me. I told her that I loved her too. She then turned to me and said, "Even when you are dead, I will still love you."

Well Fan-C I am glad that I have your love for forever...
